Project Specifications

The proposal comprised of two (2), additional three-storey units located at the rear of the site, adjacent to two (2) pre-existing units. Each dwelling included a single bedroom, car parking spaces and quality private open space. This proposal was designed to be responsive of the future of the Gold Coast as it utilised the Light Rail, increased density and promoted active transport.

Project Specifications

This application involved 10 Attached Dwellings located in Southport that achieved an efficient and viable outcome for the Garden Residential Character Area of the Southport Priority Development Area (PDA). The development comprised of an integrated complex with two-storey dwellings configured in duplex pairs. Each Dwelling consisted of three (3) bedrooms, open planned living, kitchen and dining areas and quality outdoor spaces, including a balcony on the upper level.

This two-storey development comprised two (2) dwelling types, being four (4) bedroom and six (6) bedroom townhouses arranged in pairs and standalone units. The townhouses were situated on an irregular shaped allotment, with two street frontages. A high standard of architectural design was achieved, including quality common open space and landscaped areas.

Three (3) Dwellings were proposed. Unit 1 was proposed as a standalone dwelling, while Units 2 and 3 were in an attached configuration at the rear of the site. Each dwelling contained two bedrooms, a double garage, patio, walk in wardrobes and living areas.

Three (3) two-storey dwellings that adjoined a cul-de-sac, were proposed as a part of this application. The proposal comprised of two (2) four-bedroom dwellings and one (1) three-bedroom dwelling, each with two (2) car parking spaces, high quality landscaping, ground floor private open space and an open plan living/dining area.
