Commonwealth Games Village master plan

Mar 24, 2014

The Commonwealth Games Village will be one of the most significant legacy projects of Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018. Grocon was selected at the end of 2013 as the preferred development partner for the delivery of the Commonwealth Games Village and redevelopment of Parklands. Under the Grocon scheme, development of the Commonwealth Games Village at the Parklands site will deliver over 1200 apartments and townhouses and provide accommodation and services to 6,500 athletes and officials during the games in 2018. After 2018, the Commonwealth Games Village will be transformed into the residential component of this new mixed-use, health and knowledge community supported by Griffith University and the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Local Architecture Awards showcase our Citys best

Taylor Willis was lucky enough to be invited along to the local architecture awards held tonight at Dreamworld. We were so pleased to see the high quality of buildings nominated this year and agreed 100% with the judges decisions. Capri on Via Roma on Isle of Capri designed by locals BDA Architecture won the Regional Project of the Year.
