September; a month full of Development Approvals for our clients
Oct 5, 2014
Our team has put in the hard yards this past month, securing more than 10 approvals in September. These range from 2 lot subdivisions - to a new HQ for a local bridal label - to Medium Density Detached Dwellings in our CBD - to a Medical Centre. Pending approvals this month are a high rise in our CBD, expected early October - Indoor Recreation Facility - Mechanic Shop - and others. In addition, we have delivered several town planning determinations for projects we deem do not require Council approval, this month. We have also secured extensions of time for many of our projects (have you checked your currency period lately?). We are expecting October to be much the same!

We believe approval will be received later this month.
From a vacant site with an idea to fully completed build in 15 months
Jul 15, 2014
At Taylor Willis Town Planners, we get kicks out of seeing the finished built product! With the mountains of paperwork we overcome and wins along the way, we are most pleased when the project is completed. We were engaged by Clarkes Design and Construct 15 months ago to get the Council approval for an Industrial development in Nerang, which has just been completed! We managed the Development Approval process for two (2) large Warehouse/Industrial factories, receiving approval within 4 weeks. This site was constrained by its small size but the client was seeking to maximise the yield. We had to juggle the planning requirements for landscaping, car parking and truck parking and a make it all work, which we did and in record time. Nicole awarded Fundraiser of the Year at inaugural Vinnies Gold Coast Community Sleepout
Jul 10, 2014
The first ever Gold Coast Community Sleepout on Thursday 10th July 2014 was a unique way for business leaders to raise awareness and important funds in support of essential homeless services.
Nicole Willis, Director of Taylor Willis Town Planners, decided to participate after learning almost 1% of the Gold Coast population is homeless with many others at risk of homelessness. A high percentage of these are women and children, who became homeless at no fault of their own.
Nicole sought sponsorship from colleagues in the industry and raised a staggering $4,540 for St Vincent de Paul Gold Coast Branch contributing 10% of the total raised by Gold Coast event, $45,000.
Nicole was awarded Fundraiser of the Year after Luke Bradnam from 102.9 Hot Tomato humbling presented her the pillow after managing to raise $5,000 himself.
Nicole thanks everyone who contributed to her fundraising efforts.
